This isn't a Disney Cars video, but it's so awesome I thought I'd share. Here is a video I took at Electric Beach on the North Shore in Oahu, Hawaii. We saw the dolphins jumping and swimming from the beach and swam about 1/2 a mile to swim with them. If you go to Electric Beach on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii I'd say you have a 70% shot of seeing spinner dolphins. Your best chances of seeing them is earlier in the morning, between 7-9 AM. Also, the summer months are much better because there are less waves. Bring your snorkel and water camera. I also strongly suggest wearing flippers and bringing a boogie board or wearing a life vest. The current can be strong and with the long swim out you can tire quickly when snorkeling with the dolphins. Spinner dolphins are friendly and like attention. They tend to move towards people and even show off for them. Bottlenose dolphins can be more hostile and are known for hitting people with their noses. So although spinner dolphins are smaller, they are much better to swim with. On our way back to shore after snorkeling with the spinner dolphins, we saw a sea turtle. The end of this video includes the sea turtle we saw on our swim back to electric beach.
